I would like to extend an invitation to your members to join us on the Late Bank Holiday Monday (27th May) at our annual OVERLORD Show.
I have attached a letter which I will be handing to the car owners that turn up to the Hayling Legends autojumble this Sunday but see from your website that you are busy elsewhere this weekend. It is an invitation to any of your members who are not attending the Lodsworth Fete to come and join us.
I’m sorry to have left this so late and I must endeavour to contact you much earlier for next year so that dates do not clash – though with the number of events that are on over the spring and summer clashes seem inevitable.

Dear Vehicle Owner,
We are holding our annual 3 day military show in Denmead, Hampshire over the Late May Bank holiday weekend.
Would you like to bring your classic car along on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th May, to complement and to contrast with the sea of green military machines?
The show should be enjoyable for you with plenty to see – both static displays and arena action. We have good quality food and refreshments on site including a beer tent – somewhere congenial to find shade in the expected sunshine. You are also most welcome to join in a classic car parade around the arena at approximately 3 p.m. should you wish.
The show is at the Lawns, Forest Road, Denmead and can be easily found by following the black on yellow roadsigns from junction 3 of the A3M. Putting the post code PO7 6TZ in a sat nav will get you close to the fields’ entrance. Marshals will wave you in and direct you past the “guard house” (it is primarily a military show!) to the booking-in point where you will be issued with a vehicle pass.
We open to the public at 09:00 and, for safety, would prefer to keep vehicle movements limited after that time, once booked in we may ask you to wait a couple of minutes until we can escort you to your allocated site.
