Drive it day event

In your latest issue of Mechanalia you will find your entry form for the Double LL Club 40 Years Drive it Day Event. Which will be on 21st April starting at The Grange Car Park in Midhurst. Please make sure you fill your entry form in and send it back to Bob by the 31st March.

This will be a great day to get your vehicles out for a lovely drive around the Sussex/Hampshire roads ending at a secert location for your pie amd mash.

This is not a race just a quite drive to enjoy yourselves around our wonderful countryside…

Some more dates for your diary

Hope the weather bucks up for the Double LL club autojumble at the Grange Centre in four weeks time on March 10th  (passes are going out this week) and just to remind you that the autumn event is on 17th of November.

The Club will be holding its gathering at Hollycombe on the 8th and 9th of June and is open to any body with an exhibit or just come along and have a look.

The annual Collectomania show will be on the 27th of October.

Entry forms for all of the above events can be obtained from myself, Dave Rudwick, details on the whos who page of the website under Show Secretary

A canal trip and a wet fete in 2006

This collection of pictures again taken in 2006, were taken while the Double LL members took a trip on Chichester Canal and a very wet Sunday at Bosham Fete. Members turned up to the fete even though the weather was terrible but we stayed to the end only to be stuck on the field as the fire engine that had been at the event got stuck in the very wet muddy gate way…
