Drive it Day report

On Sunday 24th April we met at the Grange Car Park for our yearly Drive It Day, the weather was about right, it started out first thing with light rain, but by the time we got to Midhurst the sun appeared and we were blessed with sunshine, we needed to find a suitable place to put the LL banner out, Ian & Paul decided to take advantage of a barrier that was laying idle, (see picture), the route this time was using main roads more, the first section was a total of 24 miles ending at a car park in Petersfield, where the second part was handed out by Ian & Jenny Blake, the second part was all about Hampshire. This time into Alresford, Cheriton, and on to our final destination (The Angel) again would you believe 24 miles, for an excellent Carvery, tea and coffee, and our raffle run by Fiona & Pete Goodwin, after this a good old natter and away home still in sunshine.

At this point I would like to thank Ian & Jenny, Pete & Fiona, Barry & Judy, and Val who had to put up with me sorting out the route. Of course a big thank you to all those who supported me by turning up on the day, without you there would be no run.

All the Best,
Bob.

Thanks to Bob and Barry for the pictures..
